Highfield
House is conveniently placed opposite the Dye House Field woodland
plantation, recently created by the Lavenham Woodland Trust,
and affords easy access to some of Lavenham’s delightful
footpath walks.
The
village lies within a gently undulating landscape providing remarkable
views.
Within

There is an excellent network of footpaths and the Railway
Walk is a Country Wildlife site.
The Lavenham
Circular Walk is a three and a half mile walk
which begins at Lavenham Church and then goes out into the countryside,
runs along
the disused railway, through quiet pastureland and returning by
Lavenham Hall.
The
Long Melford Walk is a four mile walk which goes
along the disused railway track and farm track to Long Melford.
