| The
historic village of Lavenham Nestles
in the Suffolk countryside, between Bury St. Edmunds and Sudbury.
It is 11 miles South of Bury St Edmunds, 20 miles from Ipswich,
25 miles from Harwich, 35 miles from Cambridge, 65 miles from London
and 38 miles from the M11 Stanstead Airport.
Lavenham is situated on the A1141, about 2 miles east of the
A134.
Highfield House is situated on the A1141 to the north of
the village opposite Dye House Field.

From Sudbury
Take the B1115 then keep to the B1071 into Lavenham, pass the Church on your
left , carry on down Church Street continuing onto High Street, pass the
Swan Hotel on your right, continue as the road goes uphill then down hill,
then past the village sign and Preston Road on your right. The drive into
Highfield House is just over the old railway bridge on the right. Private
parking is available.
From
Bury St. Edmunds
Leave the A14 at the exit signposted A134 to Sudbury, Continue on the A134
for 7 miles, take the A1114 on your left signposted to Lavenham. As you approach
the old railway bridge just before the village of Lavenham you will see the
drive into Highfield House on the left opposite Dye House Field. Private parking
is available.

Sudbury is the nearest train station - a 15 minute taxi ride to Lavenham.
For
Sudbury it is necessary to change from the London-Colchester
line at Marks Tey.
